Planarchy

Terms

What you can expect from Planarchy, and what it expects from you.

Last updated October 3, 2026

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and CK5 LLC (“Planarchy”, “we”). By using Planarchy you accept them and the privacy policy. If you don't, don't use it. If we make a significant change, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Planarchy after that means you accept the change.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older, and allowed to use Planarchy under the law where you are.
  • You sign in with Google or Apple and verify a mobile number, which every account needs. Use a number that's yours, and tell us if it stops being yours.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, email privacy@planarchyapp.com.

Text messages

Planarchy event texts are about events you're part of: a one-time code when you verify your number, one invitation when a friend invites your number before you've joined, and updates hosts post to events you're invited to. You get updates only if you tick “Text me about my events” when you add your number or in Settings. It's never ticked for you and isn't needed to use Planarchy. No marketing texts. Reminders come as app notifications, not texts.

  • Message frequency varies with how many events you're invited to.
  • Message and data rates may apply. We don't charge for texts; your carrier may.
  • Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to cancel. You'll get one confirmation, then nothing, including invitations from friends. STOP also turns off “Text me about my events” in Settings. Reply START to resume.
  • Reply HELP (or INFO) for help, or email privacy@planarchyapp.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and we can't guarantee delivery.
  • Your number and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See the privacy policy.

Inviting people by number

When you invite someone by typing their number, you confirm they know you and agreed to hear from you about your events. We record that, with the date, and send them one text on your behalf. Only invite people you know. Never use bought, scraped or shared lists, and never invite someone who has asked you not to contact them.

If an invitation you sent leads to a claim against us, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of it. We can block invitations, remove events and close accounts that break this section.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with, which is what running your event takes, and you confirm you have the right to post it. We don't use it in ads. Deleting it ends that permission, though copies guests already made are out of anyone's reach.

Ads

Planarchy is free and shows ads from Google. Google chooses them, we don't endorse them, and the privacy policy explains what Google sees and how to turn off personalized ads.

Things not to do

  • Break the law, or help anyone else to.
  • Harass, threaten or spread hate, or post sexual content involving anyone, least of all a minor.
  • Send spam, bulk messages, or promotions dressed up as invitations.
  • Impersonate anyone or use someone else's account.
  • Scrape the service, get around its access controls, or try to disrupt it.
  • Click ads you don't mean to, or ask others to.
  • Resell Planarchy or use it as a ticketing or marketing tool.

To report something, email privacy@planarchyapp.com. We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Events are between you and the people at them

Planarchy helps plan events. It doesn't host, vet, insure or supervise them, or check that anyone is who they say they are.

The iOS app

You get a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's terms allow. Don't copy, reverse engineer or resell it. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support the app and isn't responsible for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Profile, ⋯ menu, Delete account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or when the law requires it, and we'll warn you first where that's reasonable. We may change or stop offering Planarchy.

Warranties and liability

Planarchy is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability is capped at the greater of what you've paid us (nothing so far) or US$100. Where the law doesn't allow these limits, they don't apply to you.

Disputes

Email privacy@planarchyapp.com first; most problems are fixed by a reply. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Texas. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
